Gruntovka 9-20 september 2010 GOLDEN POT Petr Maslov Curator - Bogdan Mamonov   AKTOVY Zal Aktovy Zal is a space about 250 square meters, 8 meters high. "Aktovy Zal" of October Paper Factory initially was a venue where the workers of the factory came for meetings and amateur theater and chore classes. In 2006 it was reconstructed and renovated( designed by young architects Fedor Dubinnikov and Aleksey Kostikov), and now it is focused on theatre, comtemporary dance, indi-music, documentary and cartoon screenings. This venue is rented out and curated by Independent Theater Agency "TSEKH" and Kinoteatr.doc agency. Official reception of Aktovy Zal as a venue was dated on September, 2006. Since then it works on a daily basis,every evening, 7 days a week. Aktovy Zal is a special and rare place in Moscow, where you can see unique contemporary dance programs, independent theater premiers which then become hits. Aktovy Zal's policy is special, as , apart from presentation of the shows, films and music, it also includes assistance in production of the new shows and support of young emerging artists, musicians, dancers, producers.
