Yuri Gordon is an artist, writer, calligrapher and type designer, and now he presents his exhibition ‘Silnie Bogi’ (Powerful Gods (with an intended mistake)). The exposition consists of series of graphical works, sculptures and texts in both human and god languages. The series are devoted to the exploration of the relations between gods and men, who live side by side. How and when do Gods come to people?
How strong or fragile is the world, in which Gods and humans interact? When they leave, what do we lose? How much do Gods depend on men, and vice versa?
Come, and you will find out that Kvazimir Mladevich was right, saying ’To believe in gods, you must see them first‘.
We are happy to invite you to the opening of the exhibition on November 13, 2009 at 19.00.
