Rabota [The working body]
To the grandmother of unknown soldier.
Investigating the aspects of work and function, placed in a sociological context, Rabota place a number of contrasts co-existing in the same place.
Age, Gender, History are all explored by the dancing and pedestrian body.

Bio
Martin Forsberg is a native of Härnösand, North Sweden. Trained at the Swedish Ballet Academy and studied Choreography at The Danish National School of Contemporary Dance in Copenhagen.
His choreographic work has been commissioned by The Royal Danish Ballet (DK),
EDge (UK), NorrDans (SWE), Cullberg Ballet (SWE), Desingel (BEL) among others.
He has also created work for his own group Fors Dance.
In Russia Martin has choreographed This is...As if for Ekaterinburg Contemporary Art Centre and OFELIA!OFELIA! in collaboration with Tsekh.
In 2009/10 Martin is making a new creation for Norrdans and his own piece STITCHED, a piece with dance, sculpture and surgery.
